ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Legal Counsel (f/m/d) to strengthen camLine's Legal Department based in camLine's brand-new headquarters – as a matter of course, we are offering flexible working hours and a hybrid working model.
Challenging projects are waiting for the contribution of your legal expertise, creativity and your solution-oriented input. The daily work is dynamic - no day is like the other, requiring an independently working problem solver but also a true team player with a deep economic understanding.
The Legal Department supports all camLine companies and their business units around the world on a wide range of issues and is also responsible for corporate governance, compliance as well as for data protection matters.
In the role as Legal Counsel, you will also work closely with camLine's management and various other departments, supporting both day to day internal operations and business relations with our business partners. As business enabler, you will be closely involved in the sales process supporting our global sales team within contractual and business compliance relevant matters.
A SAMPLE OF YOUR TASKS:
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising on international IT sales contracts as well as contracts owned by other camLine business units
- Handling data protection and compliance matters
- Taking an active role in the digitalization strategy of the Legal Department by managing and improving processes owned by the Legal Department and use of existing and new IT tools (document management system, e-signature-tool, etc.)
- Close collaboration and sharing of the best practices with colleagues from the Legal, Data Protection and Compliance Departments of various companies of Elisa Group
WE WANT YOU TO FULFILL THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
- Both, fully qualified lawyers as well as holders of a master's degree in law (LL.M.) or similar programs are welcome
- Relevant post-graduate professional experience, including the work with contracts
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in both English and German (written and spoken) - English will be your main language at work
- Highly developed organizational skills with a structured, independent and professional way of working
- Analytical, with attention to detail but also pragmatic and business-minded
- A team player with the so-called "hands-on" mentality, who will not stop where your "lawyer"-responsibility ends
WE THINK IT WOULD BE A GREAT ADVANTAGE IF YOU:
- Have profound work experience, preferably as in-house counsel or lawyer in an international company or law firm
- Have legal expertise and/or affinity in the areas of IP rights, corporate law and data protection
- Understand software and technology related business models, trends and the respective international contractual terms
